Drum Technical Tips
Our drums are designed for plug and play. Over the years we realize there are several manufacturers of .22 rimfire firearms available. Due to this, it may be necessary to make small adjustments to customize the drum function to fit your firearm needs.
If you are running full auto, you may need to tighten the drum spring tension to feed ammunition faster. Tightening the spring tension would mean you align the follower hole more towards 6 and 9 o'clock. (See assembly/disassembly link below) Please note we have found that it is not common to have to reduce your drum spring tension from factory settings.
Recommended ammunition: Federal, CCI/Blazer, American Eagle .40 grain. There are other Use a good round nosed bullet.
*Be sure to keep your rifle clean and well lubed.

You will notice one side of the feed lips is taller than the other. We have added this material to accommodate those rifles built with higher cut mag wells. Depending on your brand of rifle, you might have a lower cut mag well. This may cause “bolt drag”. Insert the drum into your rifle unloaded. Slowly pull the bolt back a few times to see if you are getting any bolt drag, mostly on the left feed lip (taller lip). If so, you can remove a small amount of material without affecting the performance of the drum. Filing/removing material will NOT void your warranty.
